Why I'm Leaving Evolved

Two years ago I made a joke about starting a "Halo Book Club" while playing with some friends. Today, I couldn't be more humbled and amazed by our community, my team, and what we've done together. I have been fortunate to have an awesome crew to work with on Podcast Evolved these past 80+ episodes. They're passionate, talented, and an unending source of positivity and creativity. EXACTLY what I would want if I put out some kind of hiring position for "podcast host" or "community manager" or "editor" for anything in Rated M. Oran, David, Aaron, and Krysta have been such a wonderful team and have put so much into this podcast, this community, and into my life. I can't thank you guys enough. I know the show will be in great hands without me.

Most of you know by now that I'm going to be "very very busy" for the next year. So it is with that in mind that I have decided to take a step back and let the crew take over for me entirely. I'm not "leaving" Evolved or Rated M. But I have a lot to take care of before I leave and I'll have a lot to deal with out there. You all deserve the best and I wouldn't be able to give that to you in my situation. I'm going to enjoy listening to the show if/when I get the chance and I'll see what the other side looks like when I'm back. If all goes well, I make some kind of return next summer. Just in time to talk about what's next in Halo!

I want to say thank you again, to all of you listeners, members of the Spartan company, fans, supporters, and our community as a whole. Podcast Evolved has been such an incredible experience for me, so far, and I can't wait to see where we go next.

This will be my last episode, for now.
